Ibtesam Fidiya is the Research Assistant Intern for Public Health Informatics, Computational, and Operations Research (PHICOR), Center for Advanced Technology and Communication in Health (CATCH), and Artificial Intelligence, Modeling, and Informatics, for Nutrition Guidance and Systems (AIMINGS) Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. Ms. Fidiya has expertise in psychology, biology, and healthcare technology. Ms. Fidiya applies her interdisciplinary knowledge of psychology and biology in hopes to contribute to research projects at the intersection of human behavior and cutting-edge technology, particularly in the areas of healthcare innovation and biotechnology.

Previously, Ms. Fidiya developed strong leadership and communication skills as a STEM TA at LaGuardia CC and a BASTA Fellow.
Ms. Fidiya is currently pursuing her B.S. in Psychology with a minor concentration in Biology from the Colin Powell School at The City College of New York
